Maison de Camille sits on 1.3 acres of pasture, walnut and fruit trees, high on a plateau of rolling hills, around which the Dordogne River winds, from Souillac to Pinsac to Lacave to St. Sozy and Meyronne. There is a large two-story stone barn, a tobacco hangar (rented by a neighbor for his hay), stone sheepfold, bread oven and pigsty in a charming arrangement. Lounge in the shade with a good book, or take a stroll down the quiet lane to one of the official walking trails.
